1.HUD do not display ,Without electricity
Reason:Start the car engine, and check if the OBD cable is connected tightly or not,try several times,check whether HUD master switch is on.If HUD still not display ,please try another car,analyze whether the car OBD interface is broken.If the broken OBD interface,suggest that fix OBD interface first and then connect HUD again,HUD should work .
2.With electricity on,but only show car voltage,and auto-off after 30 seconds.
Reason:HUD work only for OBDII and EOBD interface.
Car model year (US Cars after 2003 years,other region Cars after 2007 years,only these cars start using OBDII or EOBD),HUD don’t work for OBDI and JOBD.So pls change a OBD2 car to use
3.Read not clearly under sunlight , has double image.
Solution:Check HUD body whether the protect film has been torn or not ,and then stick the reflection film on the front windshield.
4.Wrong operation lead to crashes
Restore factory settings,(check detail on user manual)
Switch on HUD,long press vertically the wave button for 5 seconds to Menu, short press vertically 167times to menu 17, and up or down the wave button to adjust the parameter to 1, long press the wave button vertically to save and exist,then HUD recovery successfully.
5.Inaccurate speed
Solution:Switch on HUD,long press vertically the wave button for 5 seconds to Menu, short press vertically to menu 0, the default value is 107, and up or down the wave button to increase or decrease the value, and make the HUD show the same speed as dashboard,long press the wave button vertically to save and exist.
6.Inaccurate fuel consumption
Solution:Make a set up according to your car fuel consumption(like 2.0L,1.6L)
Switch on HUD,long press vertically the wave button for 5 seconds,short press vertically to menu15,default value is 20,it means your car is 2.0L,according to your car emissions,up or down the wave button to increase or decrease the value,long press the wave button vertically to save and exist
7.Why HUD do not display fuel consumption ?
Reason and Solution:When HUD setting on factory,default date of menu 15 is 20,that means HUD use Emissions to calculate fuel consumption,this works for almost cars,with a fuel injection pulse width and the intake pressure sensor to calculate.But for the cars does not have that one sensor,so them use the air flow sensor to calculate the fuel consumption.based on this situation,HUD display fuel consumption adjust the value to 0 of menu 15.If HUD still not display fuel consumption,please check menu 9 whether show 0,0 means turn-off display fuel consumption,2 means display instantaneous fuel consumption and instantaneous fuel consumption of 100km.
8.Over Speed Alarm
Solution:Default over speed is 120,if you wanna adjust bigger or smaller
Switch on HUD,long press vertically the wave button for 5 seconds to Menu, short press vertically to menu 6,default Parameter Value is 120,this mean HUD will alarm when your speed up to 120,then you could up or down the wave button to increase or decrease the value, After finish adjustment,exist by long press vertically wave button for 5 seconds.
9.Rotation speed Alarm
Default Rotation speed is 3000,you could adjust rotation speed to 5000.
Switch on HUD,long press vertically the wave button for 5 seconds to Menu, short press vertically to menu 3 ,the default Parameter Value is 30,this mean HUD will alarm when your rotation speed up to 3000,then you could up or down the wave button to increase or decrease the value, After finish adjustment,exist by long press vertically wave button for 5 seconds.
10.HUD can not auto-on
HUD start engine default voltage is 13.2V,Please adjust the voltage to 12.8V.
Switch on HUD,long press vertically the wave button for 5 seconds to Menu, short press vertically to menu 16,the default Parameter Value is 132, hen you could up or down the wave button to increase or decrease the value,adjust from 132 to 128.After finish adjustment,exist by long press vertically wave button for 5 seconds.
HUD Common problems and solutions
Q 1:Why HUD display vehicle speed would smaller than dashboard ?
A 1:Consider the safety of drivers,the car factory made some process on speed.Usually dashboard speed will faster 2-6 yards than HUD display.In this time,you could make a adjustment on set up menu 0 until HUD display speed are same with dashboard.This is why the reason some cars on 120 on highway but the camera do not show they over speed.
Q 2:Could HUD auto-on or off ? Could HUD turn on or off by manual?
A 2:Yes,HUD could auto-on or off.Usually HUD auto-off after shut down cars for 30 seconds.HUD auto-on after start engine for 5 seconds. HUD with power switch itself,so HUD could turn on or off by manual.We suggest that you could turn off HUD by manual if you don’t drive for a long time.
Q 3:Why my car with HUD do not display fuel consumption or display inaccurate fuel consumption ?
A 3:If it is,then your car should be no Air Flow Meter,you need to re-set fuel consumption (in 3 ways )
(1),long press vertically the wave button for 5 seconds enter set up to menu 15,Set up the actual car emissions,date 2,3,4...100,Each represent car emissions 0.2L,0.3L,0.4L...10.0L;
(2),Enter menu 15 and adjust to 0 (this for calculate fuel consumption by Air Flow)
,Enter menu 15 and adjust to1 (this for calculate fuel consumption by Throttle ),and then enter menu 14,adjust default fuel consumption(standard date for fuel consumption of 100km),according to the Ministry announced for each corresponding vehicle fuel consumption or car manufacturers label: If your car’s consume is 8 ,then adjust to 80, the default value is 70.
Q 4:Why can’t I set up fuel consumption on L/100km ?
A 4:Reason and Solution:
HUD could display L/H and L/100km by free switch ,that’s for fuel consumption per hour and for fuel consumption per 100km, you could know more about your car fuel consumption in this way.Because HUD will display 0L/100km when you stop car,HUD switch to static consumption(L/H) automatically.HUD will display dynamic fuel consumption(L/100km) when vehicle speed up to 5km/H.
That is say,when you stop car,HUD display L/H,when you start car,HUD display L/100km.
Q 5:How could I read vehicle Combined fuel consumption ?
A 5:Vehicle Combined fuel consumption means Average fuel consumption.After you shut car down,HUD will display your Average fuel consumption for 10 seconds,and then HUD auto-off.
Q 6:How HUD clear fault code ?
A 6:First please don’t start your car,turn your key on(some cars has no key then turn to electricity),when your car ECU work and HUD display nothing,dial up for 5 seconds,you will hear a ‘tick’,that means clear successfully.
Q 7:How to enter set up
A 7:Plug OBD cable -> Press switch and release after 5 seconds --> showing big 107 and small 0 (888 and 88 will show, other place is black) -->big 107 means set-up parameter, small 0 means the zero menu—press the big number to 117,small number to 1—press the big number to 100,small number to 2—recycling press to choose the parameter

Q 8:Explain about Parameter Value of Speed and Rotation Speed
A 8:HUD default speed is 107,it’s represent 107%;HUD works by reading sensor data from the vehicle interior ECU computer, while car dashboard generally direct access to sensor data, dashboard information display by simulation,it would allow to exist some difference.Referring to the difference,date from ECU,multiplied by 107%,then you check HUD display,they are basically the same.
If you adjust speed to 100,HUD will display same date with ECU,but different from dashboard.
Similarly,Rotation speed are same .
Q 9:Inaccurate in Rotation Speed
A 9:Check detail on user manual.Switch on electricity,press vertical wave button for 5 seconds,Press 1 short times to menu 1,Parameter value display 117,refer to rotation speed on dashboard,check the different,dial up or allocated,increase or decrease,.After finish adjustment,exist by press vertical wave button for 5 seconds.
